A no-nonsense guide to academic writing

The Department of English Linguistics and Literature invited Professor Colin Swatridge to give a lecture based on his recently published book about academic writing. His lecture, A no-nonsense guide to academic writing, was attended and well-received by a variety of students from different faculties of the University of Miskolc.  

Professor Swatridge is a writer and teacher, who has written several books on argumentation, critical thinking, literature and culture. Besides introducing his new book, he discussed the rationale for thesis writing and provided advice on how to tackle issues related to academic projects.
