Students awarded Pannónia scholarship to present at international conference

April 11th-12th three students of the English Department, Martin Paál, László Mester and György Gubán travelled to the 29th Symposium of Students in English organized by the West University of Timisoara, Romania accompanied by Dr. Ruth Karin Lévai to present their papers on "Depictions of the Vietnam War in American Films", "Limitations of Understanding in David Foster Wallace's Good Old Neon", and "Biblical Imagery in the poetry of William Blake". Approximately 60 students were in attendance at the conference. The papers were well received with question and answer sessions after each one.
