UFWH Food Drive Results

With a great deal of joy, I would like to announce the results of the World Food Day food drive organized by the Universities Fighting World Hunger team at the University of Miskolc and the Hungarian Red Cross. 309 kilograms (680 lbs.) of long-lasting foods and 504,185 Hungarian forints (around $1,500) were donated. The cash amount smashes our previous best, which was 300,000 forints (around $900). The reason for the large increase was due to a generous donation by an unnamed donor.
