The English project competition 2024

The English project competition 2024 was held on the 12^th December 2024 with the participation of eighteen teams of three students from a variety of schools in the region. The teams were challenged with creating a video of a time capsule which would contain items or ideas which best-represent their generation. Video entries needed to be submitted beforehand and competitors were interviewed in detail about their creations by moderators. 

The number of entries for the competition far-exceeded our expectations leading us to divide the competition into two parts - a qualifying heat and final.  The jury were amazed by the creativity behind the videos submitted and the excellent responses given by team members in their interviews. 

The competitors received points which they can validate when applying to the University of Miskolc.

1^st place: Balogh Ádám, Szlávik Levente and Vaskó Krisztián György from Szerencsi SZC Tiszaújvárosi Brassai Sámuel Secondary Technical and Vocational School, Tiszaújváros

2^nd place: Bojtos Marcell, Lupkovics Balázs and Vucsák Dániel from Herman Ottó Secondary Grammar School, Miskolc

3^rd place: Hengsperger Anna Éva, Jakab Levente Vazul and Tóth Noémi Kiara from Herman Ottó Secondary Grammar School, Miskolc
