Wapikoni Workshop

Wapikoni Workshop

By the kind invitation of our teacher, Attila Takács, we – two students in their third year – had the opportunity to travel to Budapest for a special workshop on November 9th 2018. The workshop was organized by an enthusiastic team, in cooperation with various companies and organizations, such as the Hungarian Network for Canadian Studies.

We spent a lovely afternoon in the interactive workshop, where we learnt about the history and goals of the Wapikoni Mobile and saw four short films directed by Canadian Indigenous People. We had the chance to meet new people and work with them in a friendly environment. The workshop was hosted in the Central European University.
